If you want to paste a link into a MarsEdit blog post as quickly as possible, use ⌘-⇧-A (Format > Paste Link) instead of the regular “Link…” command.
Assuming the URL is already in your clipboard, this MarsEdit trick lets you skip the modal link paste dialog—it just links your highlighted text so you can get on with your writing and editing.
