rMBP Displays pane
If you open the Displays System Preferences pane on a retina MacBook Pro, the Mac preview image of has a number of great little details:

  • The wallpaper depicted on the computer is your actual wallpaper
  • The application window is a TextEdit document called “Think Different.rtf,” containing the text of the famous “Think Different” ad (this is also used for the four options under the “Scaled” setting)
  • The time on the clock in the menu bar is 9:41 AM, Apple’s “standard” time in all of their promotional/marketing images

Thanks daGUY!
