In iOS 7, when launching an app inside of a folder, the folder stays open so that when the app is closed other other apps in the folder can easily be launched. However, after launching an app from a folder and then using the app switcher to switch to another app that is not in that folder, closing out of this app returns to the home screen with the folder now closed.
